PRAI TRADING & SHIPPING has been doing business on the sulphur market for over twenty years and since 1992 has led the way in Italy in the trading of:

solid and liquid sulphur.

Among the countries of the Mediterranean, it is also a lead trader of the following:

sulphuric acid
caustic soda
magnesium chloride
ammonium sulphate
fertilizers (urea, biammonium, etc.)
other chemical products

PRAI TRADING & SHIPPING operates in both Marine and Land logistics, depending on the products handled.

• Its shipping division is active in the charter shipping market.
• The company keeps a close eye on the dry markets (for solid sulphur and steel) and the chemical market for the transportation of sulphuric acid and other products.
• A Time Charter Ship has been chartered and assigned to the transportation of liquid raw materials, primarily sulphuric acid.

PRAI TRADING & SHIPPING is the sole agent for Cotesi, a major Portuguese company producing synthetic cables, bags and textiles. 

• Lines and ropes of various dimensions are stocked ready for delivery to ships.
• Nets and twines for agriculture are sold and distributed, mainly in southern Italy.

PRAI TRADING & SHIPPING has also begun trading in steel and steel derivatives.

For the two-year period 2006/2007, the PRAI TRADING & SHIPPING turnover amounted to almost 25 million euros.

PRAI TRADING & SHIPPING enjoys trade relations with the main refineries in Italy and elsewhere in the Mediterranean, including Eni, Erg, Api, Repsol, and with private clients and state institutions throughout Europe and in North Africa.
